Panthers knock off another Big Ten foe

December 24, 2015 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee Panthers logoThe UW-Milwaukee Panthers had already knocked off the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison earlier.  Last night, the Panthers added the Minnesota Gophers to their Big Ten hit-list, pulling out a 74-65 win at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.

Milwaukee point-guard Jordan Johnson finished a rebound shy of a triple-double, tallying 19 points, ten assists and nine rebounds.

The Panthers (9-4) were 10-49 against the Big Ten before this season, with their last victory coming back in 2005.

The Panthers have won four of their last five.  They open Horizon League play on Saturday, January 2nd in Milwaukee.
