The St. Norbert College Green Knights extended their regular season conference win streak to 46 games, knocking off Ripon College 59-57 on Wednesday night in De Pere.

St. Norbert trailed Ripon 49-43 with 8:13 left before going on a 12-0 run to take a 55-49 lead with 3:00 left.

Ripon chipped into that lead and had a last shot to win, but Koy Brecklin’s three pointer at the buzzer was off the mark, sending The Red hawks to their second loss (2-2, 1-1 MWC) of the season.

The Green Knights (3-1, 2-0) got 20 points on eight-of-13 shooting from guard D.J. DeValk.  Ben Bobinski added 16 points, including a three-quarter court three point shot to end the half.

Ty Sabin led all scorers with 22 points (9-of-18 FG) for Ripon.  Elliot Hoerdemann added 15.

The Red Hawks hit eleven-of-22 from three-point range.
