Survey shows many Wisconsin employers plan to add workers next year

December 8, 2015 By WRN Contributor

A survey of employers in Wisconsin shows 24 percent expect to add workers over the first three months of 2016.

The report from the Manpower Group also found another 66-percent of the Wisconsin businesses surveyed believe they’ll maintain their current staff levels between January and March.

Spokeswoman Karen Miller said only about eight percent of those responding said they planned to decrease staff during the first three months of the year.

Miller said the anticipated hiring pace for the first quarter of 2016 is actually down slightly, compared to a survey conducted at this time last year.
