Arrests made in Janesville meth lab raid

January 5, 2016 By WRN Contributor

camptondortchTwo Janesville men face charges, after police say they uncovered a meth lab on the city’s east side.

Twenty-two-year-old Krystoffer S. Dortch and 27-year-old Jeffrey A. Campton were arrested on charges including Manufacture-Delivery of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a park, 2nd Degree Reckless Endangering Safety, and Maintaining a Drug House.

Police say the Street Crimes Unit raided the lab in an apartment at 418 East Saint Lawrence Avenue about 10:45 p.m. Sunday night. They say they confiscated Methamphetamine production related materials, and a large quantity of by-product.

The building where the lab was discovered is just a block away from the Rock County Courthouse.
