Kids found at scene of Columbia County meth lab

January 11, 2016 By WRN Contributor

A Pardeville man has been arrested in connection to a meth lab investigation — and two young children were in the home during execution of a search warrant.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a Pardeeville home on January 6, and found an active one pot methamphetamine lab in the home. They also recovered Suboxone, methamphetamine, chemicals and materials for manufacturing the drug.

Thirty-two-year-old Aaron G. Lytle. Lytle faces charges of possession of materials for manufacturing methamphetamine, maintain a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing methamphetamine, felony neglecting a child and violation of probation/parole.

The children were turned over to their mother. Lytle was also on probation. He had previous felony convictions from 2014 marijuana and heroin cases. A DEA meth clan lab disposal team was brought in from Chicago to clean up the hazardous materials and chemicals.
