After seeing their 14-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday night, the 22nd ranked Green Bay Phoenix women got right back on the horse and started a new streak, rolling past Detroit 58-36 in Horizon League play at the Kress Center on Saturday.

Sophomore Jessica Lindstrom poured in a career high 19 points and pulled down 13 rebounds and hit eight-of-nine from the field to lead Green Bay.

Detroit entered the game ranked fourth offensively in the Horizon League, averaging 70.1 points a game.  The Titans instead were held to their lowest point total of the season.  They went without a field goal for more than eleven minutes between the first and second quarters.  Green Bay went on a 17-2 run during that stretch to go up 24-9.

Mehryn Kraker added 14 points and ten rebounds, combining with Lindstrom to go 13-for-17 from the field.  The rest of the team hit just nine-of-51.

Green Bay out-rebounded Detroit 56-25 and 27-5 on the offensive glass.

With the win, Green Bay improved to 18-3 overall and 8-1 in Horizon League play.

The Phoenix get a week off and face the Milwaukee Panthers at the Kress Center next Saturday.
