One week ago, Mike McCarthy said he couldn’t bring himself to consider his Packers team as an underdog.

That was against the Washington Redskins and the Packers wound up winning the wildcard playoff game 35-18.

This week, the Packers are facing the Arizona Cardinals.  Green Bay  is being pegged at 18-1 favorites to win the Super Bowl, which just happens to be the worst odds of the entire playoff field.   They lost to the Cardinals 38-8 two weeks ago.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says the pressure is on the Cardinals, not the Packers.

Prior to last weeks win at Washington, the Packers suffered back-to-back losses to Arizona and Minnesota.  It’s no surprise that they’re not considered by too many people to pull off the win at Arizona this Saturday night.

But the Packers aren’t bothered by what other people think.  They’re confident with where they are and where they are headed.

The players haven’t forgotten the drubbing they took at the hands of the Cardinals, but they’ve also moved put that game behind them.  They know they’re just one more win away from a spot in the NFC Championship game.
