Badgers get two more linemen commits

February 23, 2016 By Bill Scott

Bucky Badger logoMenomonie’s Alex Fenton and Kimberly’s Logan Bruss became the second and third high school offensive linemen to commit to the University of Wisconsin football program on Monday.

Both were offered scholarships at the Badgers’ Junior Day on Jan. 23.  Both chose Wisconsin over offers from Big Ten Conference rival Michigan according to Scout.com.

The 6’4, 255 pound Bruss is a three-star prospect that has helped his high school team Kimberly Papermakers win three straight WIAA state titles, the past two coming in the state’s top division.  The 6’5, 280-pound Fenton is also a three-star prospect.

Wisconsin now has three offensive line commits for the 2017 class.  The Badgers secured a commitment from Kayden Lyles, who is the brother of 2016 early enrollee Kare Lyles, back in October.

De Pere defensive lineman Aaron Vopal is also an early in-state commit.
