Bucks start slow, fall at Boston

February 26, 2016 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee Bucks logo 11The Milwaukee Bucks got off to a slow start and trailed by as many as 18 points in the third quarter before falling to the Boston Celtics 112-107 at TD Garden.

The Bucks rallied in the fourth-quarter to get within four points in the final minute but former Marquette standout Jae Crowder hit a three-pointer to thwart the Bucks comeback.

Crowder’s basket put the Celtics up 109-102 with 50.6 seconds left.

Jabari Parker led the Bucks with 22 points while Khris Middleton added 21 points and Greg Monroe 20.  Giannis Antetokounmpo got off to a slow start before finishing with 14 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.

The Bucks fell to 8-25 on the road this season.  They are 16-9 at home and will play the next five games at the Bradley Center, starting with a game against Detroit on Saturday night.
