Governor Scott Walker has signed a bill that allows hunters to add bright fluorescent pink to their wardrobe options.

The measure allows hunters to choose between blaze orange or bright pink for what they wear to improve their visibility to others out in the woods during hunting seasons. State law requires at least half the clothing above the waist of hunters to be made from one of the bright colors.

Sponsors of the bill said it gives hunters another option – which may also be more appealing to women interested in the sport.

The bill was one of 21 signed by the governor Thursday in private at the Capitol.
