Marshfield man shot after taking turnoff into Beloit

February 4, 2016 By WRN Contributor

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting of a 32-year-old Marshfield man. The victim told deputies he was shot by three Hispanic men who’d flashed gang signs as he took an exit off the Interstate into Beloit Wednesday night around 7:00 o’clock.

The man said he encountered the trio somewhere in the area of Milwaukee/Branigan Roads, and they began to follow him and when he pulled over, they attacked him.

Deputies found the victim in the area of East Highway 11/14 and County MM, as he was attempting to drive himself to a hospital. He was shot in the leg. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a blue Chrysler Pacifica, or any of the three Hispanic men, believed to be in their 20s, who may have been involved.
