Muscoda meteor captured on dashcam (VIDEO)

February 4, 2016 By Bob Hague

Thousands of people have watched a video of an apparent meteor flying over a small town in southwest Wisconsin. The Muscoda Police Department’s Facebook page has a six-second video of what looks like a huge white ball falling from the sky. A rooftop camera at UW-Madison also caught the apparent meteor on Monday night, as a moving burst of light.

Almost 65,000 people had seen the two videos online as of Wednesday morning. The fireball seen streaking above southern Wisconsin on Monday evening was captured by a Muscoda Police Department dashboard camera.
