St. Norbert College needs help to gain top seed in upcoming playoffs

February 19, 2016 By Bill Scott

St. Norbert College logoThe St. Norbert College men’s hockey team kept its hopes for the outright Peters Cup championship alive in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) with a 4-1 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering at Kern Center.

The Green Knights (20-2-2, 16-2-1 NCHA) have one regular-season game remaining, hosting MSOE on Friday night in De Pere.  In order to capture the No. 1 seeding for the league playoffs, St. Norbert must win tonight and hope Adrian College drops a point in its two-game series this weekend at College of St. Scholastica.

St. Norbert also clinched its 18th 20-win season in the last 20 years with the win.
