Anderson allowed seven hits and four runs over four innings as the Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Cincinnati Reds 7-6 at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix on Friday.
Three of the four runs allowed were unearned after Ryan Braun dropped a two-out fly ball in left field. Joey Votto followed with a single and Adam Duvall homered to get the Reds off to an early lead.
Anderson’s spring ERA stands at 10.13 and he’s allowed a team-high four homers in 10 2/3 innings.
The Brewers (8-7-1) will face the Angels this afternoon. Wily Peralta gets the start for the Brewers. Scooter Gennett is expected to see his first action at second base.
