Lyles to miss spring ball with hip injury

March 9, 2016 By Bill Scott

Motion WUniversity of Wisconsin early enrollee quarterback Kare’ Lyles will not participate in spring practice while recovering from a left hip injury.

The three-star prospect from Arizona, Lyles is one of just three scholarship quarterbacks on the Badgers’ current roster along with fifth-year senior Bart Houston and redshirt freshman Alex Hornibrook.  The Badgers are trying to replace four-year starter Joel Stave this offseason.

Linebacker Dallas Jeanty will now be the only early enrollee expected to participate in spring practice.
