Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump will rally with supporters in Janesville, just a week ahead of Wisconsin’s April 5 primary election.
Trump’s campaign announced Thursday that he will hold a rally at the Janesville Conference Center on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 29.
Trump is the last of the three candidates seeking the GOP nomination to announced stops in the state. Ohio Governor John Kasich was in a Wauwatosa on Wednesday for a town hall event, while Texas Senator Ted Cruz was in Pewaukee at an event hosted by Right Wisconsin. Cruz also has stops planned in Dane and Rock Counties today.
Neither of the Democratic candidates, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, have announced any campaign appearances in the state yet. Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, was scheduled to make stops in the state today though, in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Madison.
