Appleton’s Hanna wins 6th term

April 6, 2016 By WRN Contributor

Tim Hanna has been Appleton’s mayor for the past 20 years, and he earned a sixth four-year term on Tuesday.

Hanna defeated challenger Josh Dukelow 64-to-36 percent.

Hanna says he’s looking forward to seeing the expo center become a reality, and moving forward with the library project. He says his experience likely helped him win the race.

Dukelow says he’s proud of the campaign he ran, and he feels he helped start some valuable conversations. He says he also helped get more young people more interested in city government.
