Barrett and Abele breeze past challengers

April 6, 2016 By WRN Contributor

Wins for Milwaukee incumbents on Tuesday. Both Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee County Exec Chris Abele easily brushed off their challengers. Seventy-percent of voters re-elected Barrett to a fourth term as he defeated Alderman Bob Donovan.

Abele won a second term by defeating state Senator Chris Larson by a 66-to-44 percent margin – a race where Abele spent more than $4-million of his own money.
