The Milwaukee Brewers dropped their third straight game, falling to the Minnesota Twins 7-4 in a game shortened by rain.
The two teams waited more than two hours before the game was called after six innings.
Chase Anderson gave up his first earned runs of the season, in this, his third start. Anderson served up home runs to Minnesota’s Miguel Sano and Byung Ho Park, two of the Twins 14 hits for the game.
Anderson gave up five runs on eleven hits and fell to 1-1 on the season.
Phil Hughes earned the victory, his first after two defeats this season.
Ryan Braun singled, doubled and drove in two runs for the Brewers, who watched the Twins win their fourth straight game after losing the first nine to start the season.
The Brewers and Twins will close out their two game series this afternoon.
