Another change in leadership at the Lincoln Hills facility for juvenile offenders.

Wayne Olson will resign as the superintendent after just three months on the job. He plans to step down on April 28th and be transferred to the Thompson Correctional Center at Deerfield in Dane County. The Department of Corrections said Lincoln Hills Deputy Superintendent Wendy Peterson will move into the top spot.

State and federal agencies are investigating alleged abuses of juvenile inmates by Lincoln Hills staffers — and whether the civil rights of any offenders housed there were violated.
