Packers’ 2016 Preseason Opponents Announced

April 7, 2016 By Bill Scott

Packers logoThe Green Bay Packers’ 2016 preseason schedule is closer to completion with the announcement of the teams opponents this afternoon.

The Packers will open preseason play with the first of five games, against the Indianapolis Colts in the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.

The Packers will play the next two games at home, August 11-15 against the Cleveland Browns and August 18-22 against the Oakland Raiders.  They’ll close out the preseason with a pair of road games, August 25-28 at San Francisco and Sept. 1-2 at Kansas City.  Specific dates and times are still to be announced.

The Hall of Fame game is the only Packers preseason game on National Television (ESPN).  All four of the teams remaining preseason games will be shown on the Packers TV Network.
