Report: Ellenson to turn pro

April 4, 2016 By Bill Scott

MarquetteGoldenEagles2

Marquette men’s basketball freshman Henry Ellenson will reportedly turn pro.  ESPN says Ellenson will declare himself eligible for this summer’s NBA Draft and he’s expected to sign with an agent, which means he can’t change his mind.

The 6’11” forward out of Rice Lake is projected by many as a Top-Ten draft pick.  Ellenson set eight freshman records at Marquette while averaging 17 points and ten rebounds a game.

Ellenson led the Golden Eagles to a 20-13 record this past season but did not make a post-season tournament.
