Walker predicts Cruz will roll to Wisconsin primary win

April 5, 2016 By Bob Hague

Governor Scott Walker is predicting a win for Texas Senator Ted Cruz on the GOP side of today’s Wisconsin presidential primary. “Ted Cruz has continued to win, as people make it clear that it’s either Ted Cruz or Donald Trump,” Walker said on Fox News Tuesday morning. “Those are the only two left who mathematically can get the 1237 delegate votes needed to win the nomination. I believe Ted Cruz is going to win here today because people are very well-informed.”

The Republican Governor has endorsed Cruz, and campaigned with him in recent days. “We want people to tell us what they’re for not what they’re against, that’s why I believe Ted Cruz is going to win here.”

The latest Marquette Law School Poll shows Cruz with a big lead over Donald Trump and John Kasich in the Wisconsin primary race with about 40 percent of support among likely voters, Trump with just over 30 percent, and Kasich with 21 percent.
