The Wisconsin men’s basketball team learned Tuesday that it will host Syracuse at the Kohl Center as part of the 2016 ACC/Big Ten Challenge.  The Badgers will face the Orange on November 29 in Madison.

The matchup marks the first-ever meeting in Madison between Wisconsin and Syracuse.  It goes down as just the fifth all-time matchup between the two teams.

The Badgers beat Syracuse in last years ACC/Big Ten Challenge, 66-58 in overtime at the Carrier Dome.

The Badgers will host a pair of 2016 Final Four teams in 2016-17 as Oklahoma will also visit the Kohl Center next season.

Wisconsin and Syracuse are tied 2-2 in their all-time series.

The Big Ten is unbeaten in the last seven Challenges, having won five and tied two.  The ACC won the first ten challenges and own a 10-5-2 record since the inception of the series in 1999.
