Bouchet pleads not guilty in drunk driving deaths of Hobart couple

May 4, 2016 By WRN Contributor

A man accused in a Green Bay drunk driving crash that killed a husband and wife has entered his plea.  Daniel Boucher pleaded not guilty to all 13 counts against him, including two of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.

On February 19, Boucher was behind the wheel when a crash on Green Bay’s west side killed James and Wendy Rush of Hobart. The couple left two children. Also injured in that crash was Boucher’s fiancée.

According to the criminal complaint, Boucher told an officer at the time, “I know I’m too drunk to drive. I know better. I’m not stupid.” A trial date was not set.
