After being no-hit for 7 2/3 innings by Miami’s Adam Conley in late April, the Milwaukee Brewers got some payback, knocking off Conley and the Marlins 10-2 on Tuesday night.

This time, Conley would last just four innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, falling to 2-2 on the season.

The Brewers outhit the Marlins 12-8, scoring three runs in both the fourth and sixth innings to pull away.  Jonathan Villar and Hernan Perez each stole two bases to help the Brewers win three of their last four games.

Zach Davies gave up two runs in five innings, picking up his first victory of the season.

The two teams play the final game of the series in Miami tonight.

Scooter Gennett update

Second baseman Scooter Gennett went 0 for 2 with a walk in his first minor league rehab contest with Class “A” Brevard County.

Gennett is coming off a strained oblique muscle suffered in late April.  Gennett is expected to play for the Manatees again tonight, then join the Brewers for the start of a four-game series with San Diego at Miller Park on Thursday night.
