May 30, 2016 By Bill Scott

Brewers logoMilwaukee Brewers’ starting pitcher Matt Garza will start a two-game rehab assignment tonight for Class “A” Wisconsin when the Timber Rattlers open a series in Peoria against the Chiefs.

Garza will make a second start for the Timber Rattlers this Saturday against Kane County at Fox Cities Stadium.

Garza was originally placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 5th, retroactive to April 2nd, with a strained right lat behind his shoulder.  He suffered the injury April 1 while making a start in an exhibition game against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
