Graphic Packaging closing Menasha plant

May 17, 2016 By WRN Contributor

The Graphic Packaging plant in Menasha will close by the end of the year. About 230 full and part-time workers will be let go.

Company spokeswoman Sue Appleyard says they’re shifting their production to newer facilities in North America. She says the decision had nothing to do with the workers and they’re being encouraged to apply at other locations.

Workers at the plant make paperboard cartons for the food and beverage industry.
