Human remains found in burnt-out mobile home in Taylor County

May 6, 2016 By WRN Contributor

What started as a missing person case has now become a death investigation in Taylor County.

Sheriff Bruce Daniels said they received a request from Price county Tuesday to be on the lookout for the missing person’s vehicle. Then, at about 6:45 p.m. that evening, Taylor county deputies located the vehicle near the burnt out remains of a mobile home.
Daniels said offices secured the area and called in for help from the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Wisconsin Crime Lab, and the

Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation. On Wednesday morning, investigators located human remains in the rubble of the mobile home.

Daniels has not released the name of missing person or further details about the ongoing investigation.
