Two killed in Pierce County motorcycle-SUV crash

May 31, 2016 By WRN Contributor

Two people from Minnesota were killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Pierce County Monday night.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says 58-year-old James Marinaro of new Brighton and 52-year-old Denise Thomas of Blaine were riding the motorcycle on Highway 10 in Ellsworth Township when an oncoming SUV turned in front of them.

Marinaro and Thomas were killed.

The driver of the SUV, 20-year-old Brieanna Davis of Ellsworth, was brought to a hospital with injuries. The motorcycle and the SUV both started on fire.

The crash is under investigation.
