June 29, 2016 By Bill Scott

Brewers logoMilwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Josh Hader, was named to the U.S. Roster for the All-Star Futures game in San Diego next month.

The 22-year-old Hader started the year at Class A Biloxi, is now at Triple A Colorado Springs.  His overall record for the season is 2-3 with a 1.87 ERA.

The futures game will be played the Sunday prior to the Major League All-Star game.

The Brewers recalled infielder/outfielder Jake Elmore from Class AAA Colorado Springs on Tuesday, designating outfielder Alex Presley for assignment.

Elmore gives the Brewers flexibility.  He has played all nine positions in the Major Leagues, including pitcher and catcher.
