According to various reports, the Milwaukee Bucks are close to a three-year contract extension with coach Jason Kidd. The extension could be worth more than $15 million and would extend Kidd’s deal with the Bucks through the 2019-’20 season.
The Bucks went 41-41 in Kidd’s first season, just one year after the Bucks finished a franchise worst 15-67. Kidd got the Bucks into the playoffs as a six-seed in his first season.
Last season, the Bucks fell off to 33-49. Ownership felt the Bucks underperformed, but they made it known that they felt Kidd has done a good job and is their guy moving forward.
