The San Francisco Giants are looking for outfield help and according to reports, they have an interest in Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun.

USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reports that the Giants have had some preliminary talks with the Brewers about trading for Braun.

The two teams open a three-game series in San Francisco tonight, giving the Giants a close up look at Braun for themselves.

Despite missing nine games with injury or just simply getting some rest this season, Braun is still on pace to hit 28 home runs and drive in more than 90 runs.

Braun has made the All-Star team six times in his career and carries a .316 average with 11 home runs and 36 RBI going into the series.
