Wisconsin women’s lighweight four claim IRA national championship

The Wisconsin Badgers women’s lightweight four won the national title at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association’s (IRA) National Championships Sunday at Mercer Lake in New Jersey.

The UW double took second and the lightweight eight fourth, giving Wisconsin 30 points and a third place team finish overall.

The Badger men took 10th, led by a fourth-place finish by the freshman eight.
