Church handing out ‘Black Lives Matter’ signs

July 26, 2016 By WRN Contributor

A Fox Valley church that’s had it’s “Black Lives Matter” banner stolen three times, is trying to spread the message in another way.

Marie Blohowiak is the congregational life coordinator for Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. She says every time one of their signs is stolen, they’ll try to get 100 “Black Lives Matter” yard signs spread across the community. She says they’re asking for a $10 donation for the signs.

The money will go to the African Heritage organization. She says a church member came up with the idea because of the community reaction to the thefts.
