Dane County crash claims second victim

FATAL+CRASH121A three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 14 in in the Dane County Town of Rutland Wednesday morning has claimed another life.

According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, 93-year-old Benjamin Blum of Madison has died at a local hospital.

Sheriff’s investigators originally believed Blum was the driver of the SUV, but he was a rear passenger in the SUV that was hit head-on.

A 72-year-old woman from Oregon was pronounced dead at the scene.
