No charges for teens in mine trespassing

July 21, 2016 By Bob Hague

No charges will be filed against three teenagers entered an abandoned mine in Dodge County earlier this month.

UW Milwaukee owns the mine and did not want to press charges, believing the 16 and 15-year-old boys learned their lessons. There were “No Trespassing” signs where Zachary Herron, Tate Rose and Samuel Lein entered the Neda Mine.

Dozens of people took part in a search effort which ended on July 11th when the teens were found in a tunnel.
