Two college football punters die in Wisconsin crash

July 25, 2016 By Bob Hague

Two young athletes died in a weekend car crash in Wisconsin. Officials at the University of Nebraska and Michigan State University confirmed Sunday that a current and a former punter for their football teams were killed in a car wreck in Waukesha County early Sunday.

The driver, twenty-four-year-old Mike Sadler of Grand Rapids, and 22-year-old Sam Foltz, of Greeley, Nebraska, both died. A third passenger, 21-year-old LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye, was also a passenger and was injured in the crash. Waukesha County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Thom Moerman said speed was likely a factor.
