Republican National Committee chair – and Wisconsin native – Reince Priebus went to bat for his party’s nominee in Cleveland Thursday night. Like many speakers before him, the Racine native went after Democrat Hillary Clinton in his speech to GOP delegates — drawing chants of “lock her up.”

“She lied over and over and over and over. She lied.”

And, Priebus said, while Clinton has collected millions through her family foundation, Trump’s concerns are with the embattled middle class. “Donald Trump wants to make sure you can pay the mortgage, put gas in the car, and buy new clothes for the first day of school.”

Priebus also said Trump “is committed to hitting terrorists hard, and making the safey of evey man, woman and child in America his number one prirority.”
