The Milwaukee Brewers dropped to 0-6 on their current two-city road trip, falling to the Seattle Mariners 8-2 on Saturday night at Safeco Field.
The Brewers fell to league worst 19-41 on the road this season and have allowed 38 runs (6.3 avg.) during the 6-game losing streak.
The Brewers had their chances, but finished 0 for 10 with runners in scoring position until finally pushing across a pair of runs in the eighth inning. By that time, the game had already been decided.
Seattle ace Felix Hernandez earned the win, while Wily Peralta took the loss for the Brewers. Peralta gave up four runs on eight hits in six innings and fell to 5-9. Hernandez improved to 8-4 for the Mariners, allowing two runs in seven innings.
The Brewers send Matt Garza to the mound in the series finale this afternoon.
