Governor Scott Walker’s approval rating improved in the latest Marquette University Law School poll.

The poll shows 43 percent of respondents approve of the job Walker is doing – up five points from a similar survey done less than a month ago. The last time the governor’s approval rating was that high was in March of this year.

The number of voters who disapprove of the job the governor is doing was down to 49 percent, marking the first time Walker has been below the 50 percent mark since October of 2014 -just before the governor was elected to a second term in office. It was also a ten point drop from a Marquette poll released in early August.
