A teen who spiked her teacher’s drink with a cleaning solution as a prank will spend two weeks in jail.

An Oconto County judge also sentenced 18-year-old Hailey Brock to two years of probation, 32 hours of community service, and an ordered her to maintain full-time employment or be in school. The county clerk of courts said Brock started serving her sentence Tuesday.

According to the criminal complaint, Brock confessed to putting cleaning solution for a dry-erase board in the drink of a Gillett High School staff member, who became ill after drinking the liquid and had to be taken to a hospital. She pleaded no contest to one of the felony charges against her as part of a plea agreement.

Prosecutors have also charged 17-year-old Gavin Gilbertson in the incident. He’s scheduled to face a jury trial starting on September 27.
