Junior guard Tyler Herro has decided to play his college basketball at Wisconsin. The 6’4 guard from Whitnall verbally committed to the Badgers for their 2018 recruiting class.
Herro had more than 20 scholarship offers but chose Wisconsin over Arizona, Florida, Indiana and Marquette among others.
As a sophomore last season, Herro averaged 24.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists a game at Whitnall.
Herro was impressed by how Wisconsin coach Greg Gard took over after Bo Ryan retired on Dec. 15 and helped the Badgers overcome a 1-4 Big Ten start and took the Badgers to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
