Governor Scott Walker’s administration is offering an early glimpse of what his next state budget proposal may look like.

Nearly four dozen state agencies, commissions, and offices submitted their state budget requests Thursday. The plans outline their funding priorities for the next budget biennium. They detail plans for new resources, additional staff, and even possible reductions in state spending.

The governor’s staff will use the requests when writing the two-year state budget Walker will deliver to the legislature in February. Lawmakers will then make changes to the plan, before passing it sometime next June.
