The Wisconsin men’s cross country program won its conference-leading 48th Big Ten Championship on Sunday with 63 points, placing two runners among the individual top five in Minnesota on Sunday. The Badgers claimed their first Big Ten team title since 2014.
Wisconsin junior Morgan McDonald won the individual Big Ten Championship with an 8K time of 24:35.7. Two-time individual Big Ten champion Malachy Schrobilgen placed fifth, crossing the finish line in 24:48.1.
Michigan State finished in second place with 66 points, Indiana was third and the host Gophers finished in fourth place.
