Bucks fall to Pacers in exhibition

milwaukee-bucks-logo-11The Milwaukee Bucks struggled out of the gate on Wednesday night, trailing the Indiana Pacers by 31 points at halftime.  They went on to lose for the first time in preseason play, 101-83.

Bucks guard Giannis Antetokounmpo led a third quarter rally to cut into the Pacers lead.  Antetokounmpo had 20 points, six assists and five rebounds to lead the Bucks (2-1).  John Henson added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Rodney Stuckey had 21 points for Indiana (3-1).

The Bucks were outscored 33-10 in the second quarter and Indiana ended the first half on a 49-12 run.  The Bucks shot just 28.6% in the first half and made just one of their 12 three-point attempts.  They made just five of 22 (22.7%) from three-point range for the game.

The Bucks host the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night in the annual MACC Fund game at the Bradley Center.
