Monmouth poll shows Clinton, Feingold leading in Wisconsin

062616RepublicanDemocratLogosA new poll from Monmouth University shows Democrats leading the top two races on the ballot in Wisconsin this November.

The poll has Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ahead of Republican nominee Donald Trump by seven points, with 47 percent of respondents saying they would vote for her if the election were today. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson was at six percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein at one percent.

In the U.S. Senate race, Democratic challenger Russ Feingold was ahead of incumbent Republican Senator Ron Johnson at 52-44 percent, with Libertarian Phil Anderson at two percent.

The poll of 403 likely Wisconsin voters was conducted October 15th through 18th. It has a margin of error 4.9 percent.
