Brewers add outfielder from Twins

brewers-logoThe Milwaukee Brewers claimed outfielder Adam Walker off of waivers from the Minnesota Twins on Friday.

The 25-year-old Walker is from Milwaukee, playing his high school baseball at Milwaukee Lutheran and collegiately at Jacksonville, University before becoming a third-round pick of the Twins in 2012.

Walker played at Class AAA Rochester in 2016, clubbing 27 home runs.  He hit .243 with 75 RBI and was rated as the 15th highest prospect in the Twins organization.
