Brewers announce 2017 Spring Training Schedule

The Milwaukee Brewers announced their 2017 Spring Training schedule.

The Brewers will open their game schedule on Friday, February 24 against UW-Milwaukee.  It’s the third straight season the Brewers will open up against the Panthers.

The Brewers will start their exhibition schedule against Major League opponents the following day (Feb. 25) with a night game against the L.A. Angels of Anaheim in Tempe.  They’ll host the Dodgers on Sunday, Feb. 26 at Maryvale.

The Brewers will play one home game at Maryvale against the defending World Series Champion Chicago Cubs.  That game will take place on Saturday, March 18.

In all, the Brewers will play 35 exhibition games, 19 at home and 16 on the road.  They’ll conclude the exhibition season with a pair of exhibitions against the Chicago White Sox on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April at Miller Park.

The 2017 exhibition season is the 20th for the Brewers at Maryvale Baseball Park.

Pitchers and catchers report Tuesday, February 14.  Position players report Friday, Feb. 17 with the first full squad workout set for Feb. 18.
