Phoenix go cold, fall to Pacific

November 15, 2016 By Bill Scott

green-bay-phoenix-logo-2The Green Bay men’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a cold shooting night in College Basketball’s Tip-Off Marathon, falling early this morning (Tuesday) to Pacific, 76-58.

The Phoenix (1-1) shot just 30.4% (17-for-56) from the field and 22.7% (5-for-22) from three-point range in the loss.

Freshman Trevor Anderson led Green Bay in scoring with 14 points.  Khalil Small added 13.

Pacific shot just 35% from the field but went on a 11-0 run with just under nine minutes left to play to pull away for the victory.
